Every minute, a huge area is deforested in the Amazon Rainforest. A devastation in such big proportions affects the water levels, climate and air of the entire planet. As the world’s major music festival, Rock in Rio decided to use its strenght to gather donations in order to revert this scenario.
We created Amazonia Live, a project to plant one million trees in the Amazon Forest. By using the media, musicians, influencers and a live broadcasted concert on a floating stage, we chased the goal of gathering donations to plant one million trees in Amazonia.
- Over 3MM trees donated from 4 continents, more than 3 times the first goal, setting the new objective in 5MM.
- Over 86MM people reached
- More than U$2MM in media support
- Over U$1MM generated for the local economy
